A gearbox represents the pinnacle in automotive technology, and it is this technology that moves us. This applies to all gearboxes, however the transaxles from Volkswagen and Porsche (classic and modern) are our passion.
Before we even think about reconditioning a gearbox, we carefully diagnose it first. This way we know exactly which parts can be reused and which parts need to be replaced, reconditioned or modified.
With regard to Volkswagen we focus on all ongoing types, however we specialise in classic Volkswagens like Beetle, Variant, Fastback, Typ 3, Type 4, Ponton, etc.
Besides the above models, we have built up a lot of experience in reconditioning gearboxes for the Volkswagen Transporter Type 2 (built between 1950 and 1992), and especially for the following types:
- T1 113 AS / AT / AB / AM gearbox
- T2a and T2b (gearbox types 002 and 091)
- T3 (gearbox types 091 / 091-1 / 094 / syncro)
For Porsche we specialise in the following types:
- 356 - 911 - 912 - 914 - 964 - 993 - 996 and 997
